Refund Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to tickets and passes sold by Miami AI Week LLC, operating as Miami AI Week™, unless a specific product, partner event, or checkout page states different terms. Please review the applicable pass description and checkout information before purchasing.
1. General rule
Except where a pass or promotion expressly states otherwise, completed event-ticket purchases are final and non-refundable for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, inability to travel, changes in personal circumstances, or changes to individual speakers, sessions, or agenda items. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Duplicate or billing errors
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same intended order or there is a clear transaction error, contact us promptly at [email protected] with the order number and relevant details. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges may be corrected through the original payment method.
3. Event cancellation
If Miami AI Week cancels the principal paid event and does not reschedule it, eligible purchasers will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid to Miami AI Week for the affected event ticket, less any separately identified non-refundable third-party charges where permitted by law. Refunds do not include travel, lodging, transportation, visa, insurance, or other third-party costs.
4. Postponement or rescheduling
If the principal event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will normally remain valid for the replacement dates. Miami AI Week may announce a limited refund-request window for materially rescheduled events. Any such window, eligibility requirements, and deadline will be communicated to affected purchasers.
5. Program changes
Changes to speakers, session topics, schedules, stages, partner programming, or individual venues are part of normal event operations and are not considered event cancellation. Such changes generally do not create a refund entitlement.
6. Transfers
If you cannot attend, a transfer or attendee-name change may be available depending on the pass type, ticketing system, and timing. Transfer availability is not guaranteed and may be disabled close to the event for security or operational reasons.
7. Refund processing
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Miami AI Week is not responsible for delays caused solely by a card issuer, bank, or payment processor after a refund has been submitted.
8. How to request assistance
Email [email protected] and include the purchaser name, order number, pass type, and the reason for the request. Do not email payment-card numbers or other sensitive payment credentials.
